Sorry it has been so long. Time flies when your having fun! Well, Tanner is still growing like a weed. He had over 100 words at 17 months. However, mommy was one of the last words on this 100 word list. He did not start saying it until January 1. Now his words are unlimited. He has new words everyday and puts two and tree words together to make sentences. He will repeat anything you say so we really have to be careful. He is very cute and is learning things very quickly. He loves to read and can name most things in his books. He can count to three and knows animal sounds so here is a video.

Pumpkin Patch
Tanner, Grandma Judy and I went to Brighton today to a pumpkin patch. It was a wild ride to get there and very windy but we had fun. We went on a hay ride up to the pumpkin patch and Tanner ran through a hay maze. He really had a blast. He got to pick out his own pumpkin, look at chickens, and look at a lot of "vroom...vrooms" (John Deer Tractors).

Tanner runs through the pumpkin patch searching for just the right pumpkin for Halloween. He lost his focus for just a moment when he laid eyes on the cutest "little pumpkin" (15 month old Addison). Then he remembered what he was there for and found a perfect pumpkin to take home and carve.

Tanner Talks
Tanner is really a jabber box. He talks all the time but hardly says anything that we can understand. I'm sure that he knows what he is talking about. Mostly he says ball, ba (bottle), dog, da-da (daddy). He sometimes says momma especially when I am holding another baby. He has also recently been saying hot and hat but they sound about the same. He points at everything and says "dat", wanting to know what it is called. On walks he loves to smell the flowers and pick up rocks and bark. He notices everything in the sky like birds, planes and clouds. Recently, he showed us that he is afraid of thunder. I can't believe how much he changes every day.
Tanner loves Music
Well, Tanner loves music and his new discovery is Micky's piano. He loves to make music and begs to be able to play. Does he have a gift in music? We will keep you up dated!

Tanner's Party
On Saturday we celebrated Tanner's 1st year with a barbecue. Many friends and family came to see Tanner. He got more favorite toys. A car that he loves to ride around in, a John Deer tractor, a piano that again makes a lot of noise, and much more. He are the viedos of him eating his birthday cake:
Tanner is 1
I can't believe it has been a year already! On Tanner's birthday we had Grandma & Grandpa over for dinner and opened a few presents. He got lots of new toys that he actually likes. Micky got him an ATV that makes lots of noise and he loves it. Great Grandma Barnett got him a cell phone and he has carried it around everyday since. After dinner we went out for ice cream. His favorite!
